Do Vaccines Cause Autism?

This is false. There is no link between vaccinations and autism. This myth was popularized by Andrew Wakefeild in 1998 when he published a study correlating the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine (MMR) and autism in young children. This study included a very small sample size of children and its results have been refuted by many other papers. The only correlation between autism and the MMR vaccine is that the administration or onset of symptoms both occur during early childhood. (source)
